Jeanett Økland is an aspiring photographer based in Oslo. Through story telling, her photographs touch upon different parts of today’s society, with political views on environmental issues, cultural diversities, history and modernization and human rights through both conceptual and documentary work.
After high school she studied business and administration. She graduated from Bilder Nordic School of Photography spring 2015 after a two-year program where she attended the narrative class. She was also administrative leader of the graduating exhibition 'Limbo' in 2015.
After her education she has worked as a gallery manager at Willas Contemporary in Oslo as well as a freelance photographer, retoucher and photo assistant.
